THE 2002 WESSOBRUNN ARCHITECTURE AWARD

Our company building, which was designed and planned by Allmann, Sattler & Wappner and was awarded the 2002 Wessobrunn Architecture Prize , had to be extended by approx. 300 sqm. in 2008 in order to meet increased production requirements. Over an area of 750 sqm we are now able to work on even larger projects (models) easily and effectively. With the help of our elevator with its dimensions of 6×3 metres and its capacity for lifting weights of up to 3 tons, we can also transport full-size cars up to the 1st floor of the workshop.

In 2015, the Grüne Modellbau workshop was extended by another 330 sqm. in an adjoining building. Due to its roll-up door it is now also possible to work on bulky models.
