14 different types of locomotive head, along with alternating mountable roofs and floors, constitute the essential parts of a wind tunnel used for examining the effects of length and width of engine head, curvature of roof, ground clearance and vehicle height on crosswind sensitivity of high-speed trains. The main quality features of a model like this are its great stability despite its light weight, its 100% symmetry and its dimensional accuracy, as well as the fact that the parts can be easily and quickly mounted in the wind tunnel without any great technical effort.
